This piece was made after writing a complex program in LISP durring David Cope's AI and music class. The program is able to take any melody given to it and then write an original harmony part generated by what key it is in and the state transition matrices that are generated after note analysis. Basically, the program harmonizes based on probability and rules of music theory. This song is the result of my program. I wrote a melody line and it wrote the harmony (played by the Synth). I then used this combination as a theme for the song, adding in other instruments such as drums and piano.
